Standard Classes are 3 hours from start to finish, reserving the last 30-45 min for dining, unless otherwise noted. Chef's Table Experiences are 2 - 2.5 hrs. from start to finish.
Standard Classes are hands-on and full participation is expected. Students practice techniques demonstrated by our instructors and prepare all the menu items. The Chef's Table Experience is a demonstration based class where you can still enjoy a cooking class while not actually doing the cooking.
Standard Class attendees will work together in groups of up to 4 at shared work stations. If you attend a class with a guest, you are welcome to work with that person. You'll have a workstation with all the tools and ingredients needed for each recipe and you'll enjoy a generous helping of everything you make!
We will provide you with an apron, but for comfort and safety, causal attire and flat rubber soled, closed toe shoes are recommended. We recommend wearing casual clothes you don't mind getting a little bit messy. Please do not wear open-toed , high heels or sandals as you will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.
The classes listed online are open to the public and a typical class size is 16-20 guests. The group will be broken down in to smaller groups of 4 to work together to collectively prepare the menu items listed for that class. Tipping is not required at any of your classes, gratuity for the staff is optional but always appreciated.
Most classes are designed for ages 14 and up, unless otherwise posted. Minors must be accompanied by a paying adult who is an active participant in the class. There is no price difference for minors unless otherwise specified
We understand that sometimes cancellations are necessary. If you cancel 48 hours before the scheduled start time for a class your entire class fee can be refunded to the original form of payment. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before, we are able to offer a gift certificate in the full amount, this can be used towards another class within the next 12 months.
When we have to cancel a class due to low attendance, inclement weather or other circumstances, we will make every effort to contact you by phone, email or text with as much notice as possible and issue a refund or gift certificate for the full amount.
Recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be listed in the menu titles. If you have a specific food allergy, please call and speak with the chef about your specific needs before registering and attending a class. In a typical class, major adjustments to recipes cannot be made during the class
Please note we reserve the right to modify class menus at any time due to ingredient availability or seasonality.
